What We Believe

The Beenleigh & District Baptist Church is a Faith based community founded on the following beliefs:

WHAT WE BELIEVE
  1. We are a family of people who believe that Jesus Christ is the only one who can provide the forgiveness, purpose, hope and peace that so many in our world are desperately searching for.
  2. We believe in the existence of One God in three persons – the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
  3. We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who came to earth to be the perfect sacrifice for our sins, to reconcile us to God our Father, and to bring us purpose and meaning and life eternal. This is a gift of God’s grace and perfect love
  4. We believe that in order to obtain salvation we must turn from our wrong doing and place our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
  5. We believe in the work of the Holy Spirit in the regeneration and sanctification in people.
  6. We believe that the Bible is the Word of God.
  7. We believe that one day Christ will return and carry out final judgement of all people.
