John Smith

John and his wife Joan joined BDBC in 2011, has organised and run men’s ministries for over thirty years and run his own business. He is a real down to earth bloke. In 2014 John became an Elder, also leading Men’s Ministries which includes THE SHED which meets at B.B and Eagleby Giants football club – THE SHED is an opportunity for men to get to know one another and to share life experiences. John also leads a weekly Men’s Study group on Friday Mornings and has a significant focus on prayer.

With his wife Joan they lead the Pastoral Care Team, faithfully supporting people in hospital, home bound and those needing physical as well as spiritual support.
John and Joan have a heart for people and are loved by the BDBC church family and they are great listeners.
