CHURCH MEMBERS’ MEETINGS

Members meetings are held quarterly usually in March, July and November. The Church votes on issues such as the annual budget, purchase of land or building projects, changing the Church Constitution and key leaders like Pastors, Elders and Deacons.

The Pastors, Elders and Deacons bring their report to the members.

The Annual General Meeting is held in November and members receive reports from the Pastors, Elders and Ministry

Leaders. The AGM is also the time for voting in Elders and Deacons.

The process for this is outlined in the Church Constitution

ELDERS’ MEETINGS

The Pastors together with the Elders oversee the spiritual life of the Church by providing the spiritual leadership necessary for Church to fulfil its vision and mission. Meetings are held monthly (or more often when required) where individual Elders report on the ministries for which they are accountable.

DEACONS’ MEETINGS

Deacons meet monthly to discuss the practical aspects and affairs of the Church. In essence the Deacons manage the whole Church on behalf of the Church as delegated in the Constitution.

They are responsible for finance, safe workplace, property and administration of the Church.

They manage all aspects of cleaning, mowing, and general property repairs.
